DMS-3130 Series Multi-Gigabit L3 Stackable Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide The fields that can be configured for Buffer Log Settings are described below: Parameter Buffer Log State Severity Discriminator Name Write Delay Description Select whether the enable or disable the global buffer log state here. The options are Enable, Disabled, and Default. When selecting the Default option, the global buffer log state will follow the default behavior. Select the severity value of the type of information that will be logged. Options to choose from are 0 (Emergencies), 1 (Alerts), 2 (Critical), 3 (Errors), 4 (Warnings), 5 (Notifications), 6 (Informational), and 7 (Debugging). Enter the discriminator name used here. This name can be up to 15 characters long. This specifies the name of the discriminator profile that will be used to filter buffer log messages based on the filtering criteria specified within that profile. Enter the log write delay value here. This value must be between 0 and 65535 seconds. By default, this value is 300 seconds. Tick the Infinite option, to disable the write delay feature. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. Select the severity value of the type of information that will be logged. Options to choose from are 0 (Emergencies), 1 (Alerts), 2 (Critical), 3 (Errors), 4 (Warnings), 5 (Notifications), 6 (Informational), and 7 (Debugging). Enter the discriminator name used here. This name can be up to 15 characters long. System Log Discriminator Settings This window is used to display and configure the system log discriminator settings. It allows you to filter logs generated based on the facility types.
