Click the Delete button to remove the specified entry. Enter a page number and click the Go button to navigate to a specific page when multiple pages exist. DHCP Server Screening This function allows users to not only to restrict all DHCP server packets but also to receive any specified DHCP server packet by any specified DHCP client. It is useful when one or more DHCP servers are present on the network and both provide DHCP services to different distinct groups of clients. When the DHCP Server Screening function is enabled on a port, all DHCP server packets received on this ports will be redirected to the CPU for a software-based check. Legal DHCP server packets will be forwarded out and illegal DHCP server packets will be dropped. When DHCP Server Screening function is enabled all DHCP Server packets will be filtered from a specific port. DHCP Server Screening Global Settings This window is used to display and configure the global DHCP server screening settings. To view the following window, click Security > DHCP Server Screening > DHCP Server Screening Global Settings, as shown below: Figure 9-68 DHCP Server Screening Global Settings Window The fields that can be configured in Trap Settings are described below: Parameter Trap State Description Select to enable or disable the DHCP server screening trap here.
