DXS-3610 Series Layer 3 Stackable 10GbE Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter VRF Name SPT Threshold Description Click the Please Select button to display and select a VRF instance from the list. Select the SPT threshold option here. Options to choose from are: Infinity - Specifies to always rely on the shared tree. 0 - Specifies to establish the source tree right at the arrival of the first packet. By default, the Infinity option is used. Select the Default option to use the default setting. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. PIM SSM Settings This window is used to display and configure the PIM SSM settings. Use this feature on the last hop of the router only. When SSM is enabled, the last hop router will initiate to establish a source-based tree for the channel (S,G) on receiving a IGMPv3 include (S, G) request that falls in the SSM range from the attached hosts. To view the following window, click L3 Features > IP Multicast Routing Protocol > PIM > PIM for IPv4 > PIM SSM Settings, as shown below: Figure 6-119 PIM SSM Settings Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter VRF Name Multicast Group Address Name Description Click the Please Select button to display and select a VRF instance from the list. Enter the standard IP access list name here that defines the user-specified SSM group addresses. The group address should be defined in the destination IP address field of the rule entry. Click the Show List button to find and select any of the exiting access lists configured on this Switch to be used in this configuration. Select the Default SSM Group (232.0.0.0/8) option to use the default SSM group addresses. By default, the SSM group address range is 232/8. Click the Find button to find and display specified entries. Click the Add button to add a new entry based on the information entered. Click the Delete button to delete an entry based on the information entered. 319
