To view the following window, click Security > MAC Authentication, as shown below: Figure 9-70 MAC Authentication Window The fields that can be configured in MAC Authentication Global Settings are described below: Parameter MAC Authentication State MAC Authentication Trap State Description Select to enable or disable the global MAC authentication state. Select to enable or disable the MAC authentication trap state. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. The fields that can be configured in MAC Authentication User Name and Password Settings are described below: Parameter User Name Password Description Enter the username used for MAC authentication here. This name can be up to 16 characters long. Select the Default option to restore the username to the client MAC address here. Enter the password used for MAC authentication here. Select the Encrypt option save this password in the encrypted form. Select the Default option to restore the password to the client MAC address here. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made.
