In the following example, the user disables Ethernet Interface 4.40: DGS-6600:2>enable DGS-6600:15#configure terminal DGS-6600:15(config)#interface eth4.40 DGS-6600:15(config-if)#shutdown Configuring the Maximum Allowed Frame Size Use the following command in interface configuration mode to configure the maximum Ethernet frame size that can be received on an interface: Command max-rcv-frame-size BYTES Explanation Specifies the maximum frame size that can be received on the interface.
