Enters management interface mode. Specifies the IP address of the management interface. In the following example, the user configures the IP address of the management interface to be 10.1.1.1 with an 8 bit subnet mask: DGS-6600:2>enable DGS-6600:15#configure terminal DGS-6600:15(config)#mgmt-if DGS-6600:15(mgmt-if)#ip address 10.1.1.1/8 DGS-6600:15(mgmt-if)#end Configuring a Default Gateway on the OOB Management Interface Enter the following commands to configure a default gateway for the OOB management interface: Command configure terminal mgmt-if default-gateway IP-ADDRESS Explanation Enters global configuration mode. Enters management interface mode. Specifies the IP address of the management interface.
