Probable Cause
Indicates you must enable Trunk Area on a port for another port to use the same area.
Recommended
Action
Move the cable to a port area that is not in use, or disable Trunk Area. You must manually enable
the port or the port remains disabled forever.

Probable Cause
Indicates the Slave port's Trunk Area differs from that of the Master port.
Recommended
Action
Move the cable to a port to match with the same Master Trunk Area, or disable Trunk Area. You
must manually enable the port or the port remains disabled forever.

Message

are only allowed on Trunk Area enabled port. Persistently disabling port <Port

Probable Cause
Indicates the specified port is being disabled because when the port on a Switch is Trunk Area
enabled, it does not allow other devices like AG or HBA that are not Trunk Area enabled.
Recommended
Action
Move the cable to a port that does not have Trunk Area enabled.
