Making Connections Using an Expansion Base Using an Expansion Base The multimedia expansion base enhances your computer's capabilities as a portable computer system. It provides space for additional drives and batteries, as well as expanded multimedia performance. The expansion base also makes your computer more convenient for desktop use.
