2 bottleneckMon -qtime quiet_time Specifies the minimum number of seconds between consecutive alerts. The default is 300 seconds. The maximum is 86400 seconds (24 hours). --disable Disables bottleneck detection on one or more specified ports. If Virtual Fabrics are enabled on the switch, the ports do not need to belong to the logical switch in whose context the command is issued. This command succeeds on online or offline ports that have bottleneck monitoring enabled. --show Displays a history of the bottleneck severity on the specified port. The output shows the percentage of one-second intervals affected by the bottleneck condition within the specified time interval. This command succeeds only on online F_Ports. -interval interval _size Specifies the time window in seconds over which the bottlenecking percentage is displayed in the output. The maximum interval is 10800 seconds. The default is 10 seconds. -span span_size Specifies the total duration in seconds covered in the output. History data are maintained for a maximum of three hours per port, so the span can be 10800 seconds at most. --status Lists the ports for which bottleneck detection is enabled in the current logical switch along with alert configuration settings. The ports may have been moved to a different logical switch but are still shown if their configuration is retained. --help Displays the command usage. Examples To enable bottleneck monitoring without RASLOG alerts on a specified port range (this may be useful because the history can be obtained through the CLI): switch:admin> bottleneckmon --enable 2/24-26 To enable bottleneck monitoring on all ports of a switch with RASLOG alerts using default values for threshold and time (preferred use case): switch:admin> bottleneckmon --enable -alert * To enable bottleneck monitoring on a port range with RASLOG alerts using custom values: switch:admin> bottleneckmon --enable -alert -thresh .5 -time 240 1-15 To disable bottleneck monitoring on a specified port: switch:admin> bottleneckmon --disable 2/24 To disable bottleneck monitoring on all ports of a chassis: switch:admin> bottleneckmon --disable * 68 Fabric OS Command Reference 53-1001337-01
