Applying a LUT/the View Assistance Function to the LCD Screen Applying a LUT/the View Assistance Function to the LCD Screen 148 While recording using special gamma curves, you can apply a LUT to the image output from the SDI OUT terminal or the View Assistance function to the image displayed on the screen and video output from the HDMI OUT terminal. These functions change the color space (and in some settings, the gamma curve) used, making it easier to check the image on the display device used. Whether or not a LUT/the View Assistance function can be used, and the available LUTs, depend on the [Gamma/Color Space] and [Look File] settings in the custom picture file (A 121).
