Checking hard drive status in the PERC BIOS 1 Press Ctrl + R during the POST process to open PERC BIOS Configuration Utility. Figure 13. PERC Configuration Utility VD Mgmt screen 2 To check if the hard drive is participating in the RAID array, perform the following steps: a Press Ctrl + N to go to the PD Mgmt (Physical Disk Management) screen and check if any hard drives are offline or missing.
