Archive file properties When the Receiver is run, the user can change a number of properties using menus on the Receiver Control Panel and the Remote Display Window. When the Receiver exits, it saves the state of any properties that were changed by the user-these are known as archive file properties. Receiver default properties The Receiver has a set of default properties that are built into the Receiver. These are identical to the property values in the Receiver configuration file (rgreceiverconfig) that is installed with the RGS Receiver. However, as noted previously, the properties in both the Receiver and Sender configuration files are initially commented out.
