General information The IBM® Netfinity® 6000R server is a high-performance server with the capability of microprocessor upgrade to a symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) server. It is ideally suited for networking environments that require superior microprocessor performance, efficient memory management, flexibility, and large amounts of reliable data storage. Performance, ease of use, reliability, and expansion capabilities were key considerations during the design of the server. These design features make it possible for you to customize the system hardware to meet your needs today, while providing flexible expansion capabilities for the future. The IBM 6000R server comes with a three-year limited warranty and 90-Day IBM Start Up Support.
