Password Encryption This window is used to configure whether to save the encryption of the password in the configuration file. To view the following window, click Management > Password Encryption, as shown below: Figure 4-4 Password Encryption Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Password Encryption State Password Type Description Select this option to enable or disable the encryption of the password before stored in the configuration file. After the Password Encryption State is Enabled, this filed will be available. Options to choose from are Encrypted-SHA1 and Encrypted-MD5. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. Login Method This window is used to configure the login method for each management interface that this Switch supports. To view the following window, click Management > Login Method, as shown below: Figure 4-5 Login Method Window 38
