Configuration changes take effect immediately. MAC Address Table The MAC Address Table contains information about unicast entries for which the switch has forwarding and/or filtering information. This information is used by the transparent bridging function in determining how to propagate a received frame. To access the MAC Address Table page: 1. Click Switching Address Table  Advanced  Address Table in the navigation tree. You can search for MAC Addresses by VLAN ID, MAC Address, or interface: • Search by VLAN ID. Select VLAN ID from the menu, and enter the VLAN ID, for example, 100, then click Go. If the address exists, the entry will be displayed as the first entry, followed by the remaining (greater) MAC addresses. • Search by MAC Address. Select MAC Address from the menu and enter a six-byte hexadecimal MAC address in two-digit groups separated by colons, and then click Go. If the address exists, that entry will be displayed. An exact match is required. • Search by Interface. Select Interface from the menu, enter the interface ID in g1, g2... format, and then click Go.
