Chapter 6 Monitoring the System Use the features available from the Monitoring tab to view a variety of information about the switch and its ports and to configure how the switch monitors events. The Monitoring tab contains links to the following features: • "Switch Statistics" on page 6-1 • "Viewing Port Statistics" on page 6-4 • "Managing Logs" on page 6-14 • "Configuring Port Mirroring" on page 6-23 Switch Statistics The pages in the Switch Statistics folder contain a variety of information about the number and type of traffic transmitted from and received on the switch. The Switch Statistics page shows detailed statistical information about the traffic the switch handles. To access the Switch Statistics page: 1.
