DGS-3312SR Layer 3 Gigabit Switch config link_aggregation with the master port. ports − Specifies a range of ports that will belong to the link aggregation group. The port list is specified by listing the lowest switch number and the beginning port number on that switch, separated by a colon. Then the highest switch number, and the highest port number of the range (also separated by a colon) are specified. The beginning and end of the port list range are separated by a dash. For example, 1:3 specifies switch number 1, port 3. 2:4 specifies switch number 2, port 4. 1:3-2:4 specifies all of the ports between switch 1, port 3 and switch 2, port 4 − in numerical order. state [enable | disable] − Allows you to enable or disable the specified link aggregation group. Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Link aggregation groups may not overlap. Link aggregation members cannot be configured as a mirrored port or target port of a mirroring configuration. Example usage: To define a load-sharing group of ports, group-id 1, master port 5 of module 1 with group members ports 5-7 plus port 9: DGS-3312SR:4#config link_aggregation group_id 1 master_port 1:5 ports 1:5-1:7, 1:9 Command: config link_aggregation group_id 1 master_port 1:5 ports 1:5-1:7, 1:9 Success. DGS-3312SR:4# config link_aggregation algorithm Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Used to configure the link aggregation algorithm. config link_aggregation algorithm [mac_source | mac_destination | mac_source_dest | ip_source | ip_destination | ip_source_dest] This command configures to part of the packet examined by the switch when selecting the egress port for transmitting load-sharing data. This feature is only available using the address-based loadsharing algorithm. mac_source − Indicates that the switch should examine the MAC source address. mac_destination − Indicates that the switch should examine the MAC destination address. mac_source_dest − Indicates that the switch should examine the MAC source and destination addresses ip_source − Indicates that the switch should examine the IP source address. ip_destination − Indicates that the switch should examine the IP destination address. ip_source_dest − Indicates that the switch should examine the IP source address and the destination address. 113
