DGS-3312SR Layer 3 Gigabit Switch delete fdb Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to delete an entry to the switch's forwarding database. delete fdb This command is used to delete a previous entry to the switch's MAC address forwarding database. − The name of the VLAN on which the MAC address resides. − The MAC address that will be deleted from the forwarding table. Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Example usage: To delete a permanent FDB entry: DGS-3312SR:4#delete fdb default 00-00-00-00-01-02 Command: delete fdb default 00-00-00-00-01-02 Success. Example usage: DGS-3312SR:4# To delete a multicast fdb entry: DGS-3312SR:4#delete fdb default 01-00-00-00-01-02 Command: delete fdb default 01-00-00-00-01-02 Success.
