DGS-3312SR Layer 3 Gigabit Switch disable snmp traps Purpose Used to disable SNMP trap support on the switch. Syntax disable snmp traps Description This command is used to disable SNMP trap support on the Switch. Parameters None. Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Example Usage: To disable the SNMP authentication trap support: DGS-3312SR:4#disable snmp authenticate_traps Command: disable snmp authenticate_traps Success. DGS-3312SR:4# config snmp system_contact Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to enter the name of a contact person who is responsible for the switch. config snmp system_contact{} The config snmp system_contact command is used to enter the name and/or other information to identify a contact person who is responsible for the switch. A maximum of 255 character can be used. - A maximum of 255 characters is allowed. A NULL string is accepted if there is no contact. Only administrator-level users can issue this command. 48
