DGS-3312SR Layer 3 Gigabit Switch 34 BOOTP RELAY COMMANDS The BOOTP relay commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate parameters) in the following table. Command config bootp_relay config bootp_relay add ipif config bootp_relay delete ipif enable bootp_relay disable bootp_relay show bootp_relay Parameters {hops | time } {ipif } Each command is listed, in detail, in the following sections. config bootp_relay Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Used to configure the BOOTP relay feature of the switch. config bootp_relay {hops } {time } This command is used to configure the BOOTP relay feature. hops − Specifies the maximum number of relay agent hops that the BOOTP packets can cross. Restrictions time − If this time is exceeded, the switch will relay the BOOTP packet. Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Example Usage: To configure bootp relay status.
