DGS-3312SR Layer 3 Gigabit Switch delete arpentry Restrictions all − Deletes all ARP entries. Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Example Usage: To delete an entry of IP address 10.48.74.121 from the ARP table: DGS-3312SR:4#delete arpentry 10.48.74.121 Command: delete arpentry 10.48.74.121 Success. DGS-3312SR:4# config arp_aging Purpose Used to configure the age-out timer for ARP table entries on the switch. Syntax config arp_aging time Description This command sets the maximum amount of time, in minutes, that an ARP entry can remain in the switch's ARP table, without being accessed, before it is dropped from the table. Parameters time − The ARP age-out time, in minutes. The value may be set in the range of 0-65535 minutes with a default setting of 20 minutes. Restrictions Only administrator-level users can issue this command. Example Usage: To configure ARP aging time: DGS-3312SR:4#config arp_aging time 30 Command: config arp_aging time 30 Success.
