DGS-3312SR Layer 3 Gigabit Switch 35 DNS RELAY COMMANDS The DNS relay commands in the Command Line Interface (CLI) are listed (along with the appropriate parameters) in the following table. Command config dnsr enable dnsr disable dnsr show dnsr Parameters {[primary | secondary] nameserver | [add | delete] static } {cache | static} {cache | static} {static} Each command is listed, in detail, in the following sections. config dnsr Purpose Syntax Description Parameters Restrictions Used to configure the DNS relay function. config dnsr {[primary | secondary] nameserver | [add | delete] static } This command is used to configure the DNS relay function on the switch. primary − Indicates that the IP address below is the address of the primary DNS server. secondary − Indicates that the IP address below is the address of the secondary DNS server. nameserver − The IP address of the DNS nameserver. [add | delete] - Indicates if the user wishes to add or delete the DNS relay function. − The domain name of the entry. − The IP address of the entry.
