19 Monitoring with Dashboards Keeping constant watch on your environment is a difficult task. Dashboards help you do this. Dashboards are collections of monitors. A monitor can be anything from a chart-based query, to a small web application like McAfee Labs Security Threats. A monitor's behavior and appearance is configured individually. Users must have the appropriate permissions to use, create, edit, and delete dashboards. Are you using dashboards for the first time? When using dashboards for the first time: 1 The ePolicy Orchestrator server has a default dashboard you will see if you have never loaded a dashboard before. 2 Create any needed dashboards and their monitors. 3 The next time ePolicy Orchestrator is started, it will load the last dashboard you used.
