Clock clock source The clock source global configuration command configures the external time source for the system clock. To disable the external time source and use the hardware internal clock, use the no form of this command. Syntax clock source sntp no clock source Default Configuration No external clock source. Command Mode Global Configuration mode User Guidelines Time from the external time source is acquired using the Simple Network Time Protocol (STNP). Examples The following example configures an external time source for the system clock. To set the time to the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), use the no form of this command. Syntax clock timezone hours-offset [minutes minutes-offset] [zone acronym] no clock timezone • hours-offset - Hours difference from UTC.
