Command Mode Global Configuration mode User Guidelines There are no user guidelines for this command. Examples The following example defines the authentication key for SNTP. Console(config)# sntp authentication-key 8 md5 ClkKey Console(config)# sntp trusted-key 8 Console(config)# sntp authenticate sntp authenticate The sntp authenticate global configuration command grants authentication for received Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) traffic from servers. To disable the feature, use the no form of this command. Syntax sntp authenticate no sntp authenticate Default Configuration No authentication.
