Working with Toner HP recommends that you use HP LaserJet toner cartridges. HP has designed the printer, toner cartridges, and toner formula to work together to give you optimal image quality from the printer. If toner gets on clothing or carpet, wipe the toner off with a dry cloth and then wash with cold water.
