‹ Removing Media Jams Removing a Cut Sheet Jam Follow the procedure below to remove a cut sheet jam that occurs during printing. 1 Press and hold the Power button for over 1 second or more until the Online lamp goes off, release the button, then switch the printer off. Data Message Shut Down.. Please Wait.. Information Power Cleaning (3 sec.) Stop/Eject (1 sec.) Online Offline Menu 2 Open the top cover. If the carriage is not parked, move the carriage to the left edge or right edge. 3 Lift the release lever. 4 If the sheet is visible, pull the jammed sheet forward gently. 6- 40 Important z Do not touch any areas other than those indicated. Your hands could get dirty or this could damage the printer.
