SYSTEM OVERVIEW FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS EIS Automatic Flight Control System Roll Hold Mode (ROL) Note: If Roll Hold Mode is activated as a result of a mode reversion, the flight director rolls the wings level. When the flight director is activated, Roll Hold Mode is selected by default. This mode is annunciated as 'ROL' in the AFCS Status Box. The current aircraft bank angle is held, subject to the bank angle conditions listed in Table 7-4.
