HIL-1508 28 Recommended Action Severity In order to avoid causing damage to the switch, the system shuts down automatically. To help prevent future problems, make sure that all the fans are working properly. Make sure that the area is well ventilated and that the room temperature is within operational range of your switch. Probable Cause Recommended Action Severity Indicates that one or more fans have failed, and that temperatures in the system have remained above the critical threshold too long. In order to avoid causing damage to the switch, the system shuts down automatically. This message only occurs on the SilkWorm 3250 and the SilkWorm 3850. Replace the switch because the fan is not field-replaceable. To help prevent future problems, make sure that the area is well ventilated and that the room temperature is within operational range of your switch.
