qloopCreate Creates a QuickLoop. Synopsis qloopcreate "qloopname", "member;member" Availability admin NOTE: This command requires HP Advanced Zoning license, which is included within the Base Configuration Services and bundled with each B-series switch. Description Use this command to create a QuickLoop. A QuickLoop name must begin with a letter and be followed by any number of letters, digits, and underscore characters. Names are case-sensitive, for example, Qloop_1 indicates a different QuickLoop than qloop_1. Spaces are ignored. The QuickLoop member list must have one or two members; an empty list is not allowed. When a configuration is enabled, all QuickLoops defined in the configuration must resolve to a maximum of two switch worldwide names. Zone alias names entered as members of this QuickLoop must be defined with WWNs. Zone alias names that are defined by domain and port number, or AL_PA are not accepted as members of the QuickLoop. NOTE: When security is enabled, this command can be issued only from the primary FCS switch. Use this command only with Fabric OS 3.x systems in the fabric; QuickLoop is not supported in Fabric OS 5.x. Operands The following operands are required: qloopname member Specify the name of the QuickLoop to be created, in quotation marks. qloopname cannot be used for another zone object. Specify a list of members to be added to the QuickLoop, in quotation marks, separated by semicolons. Include one or more of the following: • world wide names • Zone alias names 538 Fabric OS commands
