switchStatusPolicyShow Displays the policy parameters that determine overall switch status. Synopsis switchstatuspolicyshow Availability all users Description Use this command to view the current policy parameters set for the switch. These policy parameters determine the number of failed or nonoperational units allowed for each contributor before triggering a status change in the switch. The command displays the current parameters in a three-column format, shown in Table 19. The first column indicates the contributor, the second column indicates the minimum number that contributes to the DOWN status, and the third column indicates the minimum number that contributes to the MARGINAL status. The parameters can be set by the switchStatusPolicySet command. The existence of policies, such as Fans, PowerSupplies, CP, WWN, and Blade, might differ from platform to platform. For example, if the FaultyPorts DOWN parameter is set to 3, and three ports fail in the switch, then the status of the switch changes to DOWN.
