Forwarding & Filtering This folder contains windows for Unicast Forwarding, Multicast Forwarding and Multicast Filtering Mode. Unicast Forwarding This window is used to configure the Unicast Forwarding on the Switch. To view this window, click L2 Features > Forwarding & Filtering > Unicast Forwarding, as shown on the right: Figure 3 - 57 Setup Static Unicast Forwarding Table window To add or edit an entry, define the following parameters and then click Add/Modify: Parameter Description Unit Select the switch in the switch stack to be modified. Port Allows the selection of the port number on which the MAC address entered above resides. VID The VLAN ID number of the VLAN on which the above Unicast MAC address resides. MAC Address The MAC address to which packets will be statically forwarded. This must be a unicast MAC address. Click Add to implement the changes made. To delete an entry in the Static Unicast Forwarding Table, click the corresponding under the Delete heading. Multicast Forwarding The following window describes how to set up Multicast Forwarding on the Switch. To view this window, click L2 Features > Forwarding & Filtering >Multicast Forwarding, as shown below. Figure 3 - 58 Static Multicast Forwarding Settings window The Static Multicast Forwarding Settings window displays all of the entries made into the Switch's static multicast forwarding table. To delete an entry in the Static Multicast Forwarding Table, click the corresponding under the Delete heading. Click the Add button to open the Setup Static Multicast Forwarding Table window, as shown below. 193
