xStack® DGS-3400 Series Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet Managed Switch The following parameters can be set: Parameter Description Unit From / To Port VLAN ID Protocol VLAN ID VLAN Name Protocol Identify Select the unit to configure. Use the pull-down menu to select a range of ports to be configured. Use the drop-down menu to enable or disable the advertised PVID. This TLV optional datatype determines whether the IEEE 802.1 organizationally defined port VLAN TLV transmission is allowed on a given LLDP transmission capable port. The default state is Disabled. Use the drop-down menu to enable or disable the advertise Protocol VLAN ID, VLAN Name, or All. This TLV optional data type indicates whether the corresponding Local System's port and protocol VLAN ID instance will be transmitted on the port. If a port is associated with multiple protocol VLANs, those enabled ports and protocol VLAN IDs will be advertised. This function indicates whether the System's VLAN ID, VLAN Name or All will be transmitted on the port. The default state is Disabled. Use the drop-down menu to enable or disable the advertise Protocol Identity. Select the protocol you wish to use EAPOL, LACP, GVRP, STP or All. This TLV optional data type indicates whether the corresponding Local System's Protocol Identity instance will be transmitted on the port. The Protocol Identity TLV provides a way for stations to advertise protocols that are important to the operation of the network. Such as Spanning Tree Protocol, the Link Aggregation Control Protocol, and numerous vendor proprietary variations are responsible for maintaining the topology and connectivity of the network. If EAPOL, GVRP, STP (including MSTP), and LACP protocol identity is enabled on this port and it is enabled to be advertised, then this protocol identity will be advertised. Click Apply to implement the changes. 802.3 Extension LLDP Port Settings This window is used to configure an individual port or group of ports to exclude one or more IEEE 802.3 Organizationally Specific TLV data types from outbound LLDP advertisements.
