Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and may eventually need to be replaced. The iPhone battery isn't user replaceable; it can only be replaced by an authorized service provider. For more information, go to www.apple.com/batteries. Cleaning iPhone To clean iPhone, unplug all cables and turn off iPhone (press and hold the Sleep/ Wake button, then slide the onscreen slider). Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings. Don't use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPhone. Restarting and Resetting iPhone If something is not working right, restarting or resetting iPhone will likely solve the problem. Restart iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears. Reset iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
