6 External Connections Video Output Configuration The video signal output from the SDI OUT terminals, MON. terminals and HDMITM OUT terminal, depends on the clip's video configuration and on various menu settings. Refer to the following tables for the video output configuration from each terminal, depending on the main recording video configuration used. For details about the video output configuration when using a CDX-36150 Recorder docked with the camera, refer to Main Recording Video Configuration and Video Output Configuration from the SDI OUT Terminals (A 209) and the pages that follow. 149 Main Recording Video Configuration and Video Output Configuration from the SDI OUT Terminals Main recording video configuration [Main Rec Format]1 Resolution/ Color sampling Frame rate2 [RAW (SDI OUT)] 4096x2160 RAW 30P to 60P (60P inclusive) 30P or lower 4096x2160 3840x2160 YCbCr 4:2:2, 10 bit 30P to 60P (60P inclusive) 30P or lower [XF-AVC (CFast)], [ProRes (CFast)] 2048x1080 1920x1080 RGB 4:4:4, 12 or 10 bit5 30P to 60P (60P inclusive) 30P or lower 120P to 240P (240P inclusive) 2048x1080 1920x1080 YCbCr 4:2:2, 10 bit 60P to 120P (120P inclusive) 30P to 60P (60P inclusive) 30P or lower, 59.94i6, 50.00i6 Output from each terminal3, 4 SDI OUT 1 SDI OUT 2 SDI OUT 3 SDI OUT 4 Frame-sequential RGBA1 RGBA2 RGBA Square division (Quad HD) Upper left Upper right Lower left Lower right Square division (Quad HD) Upper left Upper right Lower left Lower right RGB RGB Frame sequential YCC1 YCC2 YCC3 YCC4 Frame sequential YCC1 YCC2 YCC YCC Number of terminals required 2 1 4 4 2 1 4 2 1 1 Output signal 3G 3G HD Dual link 3G 3G 3G HD 1 [Rec/Media Setup] > [Main Rec Format] setting. 2 The frame rate of the video output will be the same as that used for recording (except when slow & fast motion recording is activated). 3 The color sampling will be determined by the option selected for the [Rec/Media Setup] > [Resolution/Sampling] setting. 4 When only one or two SDI connections are required, the other SDI OUT terminals output the same signal as SDI OUT 1 (or SDI OUT 1 and SDI OUT 2). This is indicated by the gray cells in the table. 5 RGB 4:4:4,10 bit is only available when the main recording format is set to [XF-AVC (CFast)]. 6 Only when the resolution is 1920x1080.
