Using the keyboard screen Camera menu keyboard Monitoring menu keyboard Using the Menus 37 Current text length/Character limit 1 Turn the SELECT dial (camera menu) or push the joystick in any direction (monitoring menu) to select a character and press SET to add it to the text. • Camera menu only: Press [Aa1] to change the keyboard between capital letters, small letters and numbers/special characters. 2 Repeat to keep adding characters to the text as necessary. • You can press [] (camera menu) or select one of the arrows and press SET (monitoring menu) to move the cursor. • Press [›] (camera menu) or select [›] and press SET (monitoring menu) to delete the character to the left of the cursor (backspace). • Camera menu only: Press [CLEAR] to delete all the text and start over. 3 Press [OK] (camera menu) or select [OK] and press SET (monitoring menu) to confirm the text/value entered. • Press the BACK button to return to the previous screen without changing the current text. Short text/numbers version For short text fields and numeric values, a shorter version of the keyboard may appear. * 1 Turn the SELECT dial (camera menu) or push the joystick up/down (monitoring menu) to select the first character or digit and press SET to move to the next. 2 Change the rest of the characters/digits in the same way. • You can also press [] (camera menu) or push the joystick left/right (monitoring menu) to move between characters/digits. • Camera menu only: Press [RESET] to reset the text or value to its initial setting. 3 Press [OK] (camera menu) or select [Set] and press SET (monitoring menu) to confirm the text/value entered. • Press the BACK button to return to the previous screen without changing the current text/value.
