Preparing the Camera Removing the Optional Viewfinder 1 Press the Q button to turn off the camera. 2 Disconnect the unit cable from the camera and viewfinder. 3 Remove the end cap from the clamp rail's arm attached to 43 the clamp base and loosen the clamp rail locking screw. ቤ 4 While pulling out the locking pin at the other side of the ቤ, ቦ clamp rail, remove the clamp rail from the clamp base. • The slider will stop at the end of the rail. Pull out the locking ብ pin at the other side of the clamp rail to be able to take the slider completely out of the rail. 5 Attach the end cap to the clamp rail. 6 If you wish to remove the clamp rail from the optional viewfinder, repeat steps 3 to 5 with the clamp rail's arm ቧ attached to the viewfinder. • In that case, loosen the swing arm's locking screw (clamp rail side). Attaching the Microphone Holder Attach the supplied microphone holder to the desired position on the handle unit or the top plate of the camera. • Use the supplied hex wrench to secure it firmly with the 2 hex socket head bolts.

Removing the Optional Viewfinder
1 Press the
Q
button to turn off the camera.
2 Disconnect the unit cable from the camera and viewfinder.

Remove the end cap from the clamp rail’s arm attached to
the clamp base and loosen the clamp rail locking screw.
4 While pulling out the locking pin at the other side of the
clamp rail, remove the clamp rail from the clamp base.
The slider will stop at the end of the rail. Pull out the locking
pin at the other side of the clamp rail to be able to take the
slider completely out of the rail.
5 Attach the end cap to the clamp rail.
6 If you wish to remove the clamp rail from the optional
viewfinder, repeat steps 3 to 5 with the clamp rail’s arm
attached to the viewfinder.
In that case, loosen the swing arm’s locking screw (clamp rail
side).
Attaching the Microphone Holder
Attach the supplied microphone holder to the desired
position on the handle unit or the top plate of the camera.
Use the supplied hex wrench to secure it firmly with the 2 hex
socket head bolts.
