PMUX Mode of the I/O Aggregator This chapter describes the various CLI commands applicable in PMUX mode. 30 Data Center Bridging (DCB) Data center bridging (DCB) refers to a set of IEEE Ethernet enhancements that provide data centers with a single, robust, converged network to support multiple traffic types, including local area network (LAN), server, and storage traffic. The Dell Networking Operating System (OS) commands for data center bridging features include 802.1Qbb priority-based flow control (PFC), 802.1Qaz enhanced transmission selection (ETS), and the data center bridging exchange (DCBX) protocol. advertise dcbx-appln-tlv On a DCBX port with a manual role, configure the application priority TLVs advertised on the interface to DCBX peers. Syntax advertise dcbx-appln-tlv {fcoe | iscsi} To remove the application priority TLVs, use the no advertise dcbx-applntlv {fcoe | iscsi} command. Parameters {fcoe | iscsi} Enter the application priority TLVs, where: • fcoe: enables the advertisement of FCoE in application priority TLVs. • iscsi: enables the advertisement of iSCSI in application priority TLVs. Defaults Command Modes Command History Usage Information Application priority TLVs are enabled to advertise FCoE and iSCSI. PROTOCOL LLDP Version 9.4(0.0) Supported on the FN I/O aggregator. This command is supported in Programmable-Mux (PMUX) mode only. To disable TLV transmission, use the no form of the command; for example, no advertise dcbx-appln-tlv iscsi. 295
