Chapter 4 Web Configurator Basics Table 4 Status Center (continued) LABEL DESCRIPTION Model Name This displays which model this NAS device is. Firmware Version This is the NAS firmware version. LAN1 MAC Address This displays the NAS's unique physical hardware address (MAC) for the LAN1 Ethernet port. You need the MAC address to register the product at myZyXEL.com. Customer support may also request it for troubleshooting purposes. LAN2 MAC Address This displays the NAS's unique physical hardware address (MAC) for the LAN2 Ethernet port. CPU This displays a summary of CPU usage by all current processes. Memory CPU Temperature Fan Speed Note: If too many users are using the NAS then the NAS may appear sluggish. This shows how much of the NAS's total memory is being used. This displays the temperature near the NAS's CPU. The NAS generates an emergency log if the temperature goes out of the normal operating range. If the temperature goes even higher, the NAS shuts down automatically to avoid damage from overheating. If the NAS overheats, make sure the fans are working and it is in a well ventilated place. This is the RPM (Rotations Per Minute) of the NAS's fans. 4.4 Storage From the Desktop screen, click Storage to display the Storage screens.
