10 Launching the Performance Monitor Module Use the following procedure to launch the Web Tools Performance Monitor module. To launch the Performance Monitor module 1. Select a switch from the Fabric Tree and log in when prompted. 2. Click the Perf button on the Switch View. The Performance Monitor module displays. Creating Basic Performance Monitor Graphs Use the following procedure to create the basic performance monitor graphs listed in Table 10-1 on page 10-3. To create a basic performance monitor graph 1. Launch the Performance Monitor module as described on page 10-7. 2. Click Performance Graphs > Basic Monitoring > Graph Type. Depending on the type of graph you select, you might be prompted to select a slot or port for which to create a graph (see Figure 10-3). 3. If prompted, drag the port into the Enter/drag slot,port field, or manually type the slot and port information in the field, in the format slot,port. For SilkWorm 200E, 3250, 3850, 3900, 4100, 4900, and 7500 switches enter only a port number. 4. Click OK. The graph is displayed in a window in the Performance Monitor module.
