1 Select the desired color mode from Full color, Black, or Single color. 2 Touch SPECIAL ORIGINAL on the Main screen to display the Special Original popup menu. 3 Select the desired Original Image mode, and then press P (Counter). Note Note For example: Selected Original Image mode: TEXT/PHOTO, Color mode: BLACK Density Shift (Text/Photo Black) 3 (0 - 6) Selected Original image mode: PHOTO, Color mode: FULL COLOR Density Shift (Photo Full color) 3 (0 - 6) Selected Original image mode: TEXT, Color mode: SINGLE COLOR Density Shift (Text Single color) 3 (0 - 6) Selected Original image mode: MAP, Color mode: FULL COLOR Density Shift (Map Full color) 3 (0 - 6) See Specifying original type for details on the Original Image mode. 4 Press any key (from 0 to 5) using the keypad to determine the density shift. Select a smaller number for a darker level, or a larger number for a lighter level. If you enter six or above, the value will be ignored. 5 Touch OK on the Special original popup menu.
