Note Note To change copy monitor data 1 Touch or key on the right side of the list to highlight the Copy monitor data to be changed, and then touch Change. The Copy monitor data change screen is displayed. 2 Touch the desired item key to highlight it, and then type new data by referring to the procedure above. Password: eight digits maximum Name: eight characters maximum Limit: 999,999 copies maximum/Limit Target/Permission for use HP recommends that you make a list of all Copy monitor passwords and account numbers. If an invalid user name or numeric value is entered, continue by entering the valid one. 3 Touch OK to complete the setting and to verify whether the same password or name has been already used for another account number. When a password is duplicated, the Password Duplication screen is displayed. Touch YES to retype a new password or NO to create a duplicate password. If a duplicate password is created, the number of copies is counted only for the Copy monitor password with the smallest number. HP recommends you do not use duplicate Copy monitor passwords. When a name is duplicated, the Name Duplication screen is displayed. Touch OK to re-enter new name. 4 If any duplication has not occurred, the Copy monitor data edit screen is restored. To delete Copy monitor data 1 Touch or key on the right side of the list to highlight the Copy monitor data to be deleted, and then touch Delete. The Delete confirmation screen is displayed. 2 Touch YES to delete or NO to cancel. To clear Copy monitor count 1 Touch or key on the right side of the list to highlight the desired Copy monitor data, and then touch Count Reset. The Reset confirmation screen is displayed. 2 Touch the desired color mode key to clear the copy count of the selected mode. 1 2 1 Delete confirmation screen 2 Reset confirmation screen 3 Touch PREVIOUS SCREEN on the Copy monitor data edit screen to return to the Copy monitor setting menu screen. 4 Touch PREVIOUS SCREEN to restore the Key operator mode screen. 312 Key operator mode ENWW
