Selecting magnification ratio (lens mode) When the MFP is turned on, the magnification ratio is automatically set to 1.000 (100 percent) on the main screen. Follow each procedure described in this section to select the desired magnification ratio. To copy in 1.000 magnification mode Follow this procedure to make a 100 percent copy of the original image. 1 Close the RADF (ADF) securely, and then press Reset. Note The initial settings are restored. Check that APS is highlighted to indicate that the 1.000 magnification is selected. The initial settings can be altered by the key operator. See (2) MFP initial setting. 2 Select additional copy conditions, as desired. Specifying copy size will release 1.000 magnification and set AMS automatically. In this case, touch 1:1 to highlight it again. 3 Type the desired print quantity by using the control panel keypad. See Setting print quantity for more information. 4 Position original(s). See Positioning originals for more information. 5 Press Start. To change magnification ratio (fixed magnification/zoom mode) Use the eight preset ratios (0.500, 0.647, 0.772, 0.785, 1.214, 1.294, 1.545, and 2.000) and three user preset ratios to increase or decrease magnification in fixed amounts, or use the Zoom mode to reduce or enlarge the copied original image in 0.1 percent (0.001) increments.
