Note Note Note Note RADF (ADF) originals The following three modes are provided when using the HP Automatic Document Feeder (RADF (ADF)) to scan originals. ● Normal mode ● Mixed original mode ● Z-folded original mode Specifications for each mode are described as follows. Detectable paper size can be changed from only A series to Inch series, AB series, or AB series and Inch series mixed by Key Operator. See (13) Memory switch setting for more information. Normal mode ● Detectable original size:11 by 17, Legal, Letter, 216 by 279 mm (8.5 by 11R inches), 139 by 216 mm (5.5 by 8.5 inches), 139 by 216 mm (5.5 by 8.5R inches), A3, B4, A4, B5, B5R ● Original weight: Simplex: 35 g/m2 to 200 g/m2 (10 lb to 110 lb) Duplex: 50 g/m2 to 200 g/m2 (13 lb to 110 lb) Use Thin mode for 35 g/m2 to 49 g/m2 (10 lb to 12 lb) paper, or Thick mode for 129 g/m2 to 200 g/m2 (29 lb to 110 lb) paper. ● Maximum feeder capacity: 100 sheets (20 lb paper) ● Curling tolerance: 10 mm or less ● Original placement: Face up Mixed original mode Use Mixed original mode to copy mixed size originals.
