Cleaning image scanning section To maintain optimum copy quality, always keep the following areas clean. Cleaning the scanner glass Clean the glass with a clean soft cloth. If it is difficult to clean, use a soft cloth dampened slightly with water. Note Never use paint solvents, such as benzene or thinners, to clean the scanner glass. Cleaning the RADF (ADF) white board The RADF (ADF) white board should always be kept clean. Otherwise, dirt marks can be copied or the original size may not be detected correctly. Raise the document cover and clean the RADF (ADF) white board with a clean soft cloth.
