A Components Required The tables in this appendix specify the quantities of components that are required to build a cluster, depending on the number of nodes and the bandwidth. Each table is preceded by a parts count for the parts quantities that do not vary. The table headings provide the following information: • IC - Interconnect, meaning the enclosure or chassis. • Bounded IC - The number of bounded interconnect enclosures required. • = nodes - The quantity of the component is equivalent to the number of nodes in the interconnect. • NLI - Node level interconnect. • TLI - Top level interconnect. • TP Midplane - Transpose midplane. The table headings provide the following information:

•

in the interconnect.
