Section 4 Other Features of this Fax (6) Turning Password Check Reception ON/OFF Turn Password Check Reception ON when you want to limit from whom fax communication can be accomplished by turning one or both of the Password Check Communication modes ON. (Refer to page 4-35.) * If there are no Permit Telephone Numbers or Permit IDs registered in this fax, Password Check Reception will not be possible even if it is turned ON here. * If you want to cancel the procedure part way through, press the Reset key. Password Check Comm.: End Send Á Receive :Off :Off 3. Press the Enter key. Password RX: Á On *Off (Inch) Password reception: Á On *Off (Metric) 4. Use the cursor up or the cursor down key to select whether to turn Password Check Reception ON or OFF. * The asterisk (*) in the message display indicates the current setting. 5. Press the Enter key. The setting for Password Check Reception is complete. Password Check Comm.: End Send Á Receive :Off :On 6. Use the cursor up or the cursor down key to select "End" and then press the Enter key.
