EAP statistics Field Description EAPOL Length Error Frames This displays the number of EAPoL frames that were received by this Received authenticator in which the frame type is not recognized. EAP Response/ID Frames Received This displays the number of EAP response/identity frames that were received by this authenticator. EAP Response Frames Received This displays the number of valid EAP response frames (other than resp/ID frames) that were received by this authenticator. EAP Request/ID Frames Transmitted This displays the number of EAP request/identity frames that were transmitted by this authenticator. EAP Request Frames Transmitted This displays the number of EAP request frames (other than request/identity frames) that were transmitted by this authenticator. Perform a Cable Test You can display information about the cables that are connected to switch ports. To perform a cable test: 1. Connect your computer to the same network as the switch. You can use a WiFi or wired connection to connect your computer to the network, or connect directly to a switch that is off-network using an Ethernet cable. 2. Launch a web browser. 3. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch. If you do not know the IP address of the switch, see Change the Default IP Address of the Switch on page 9. The login window opens. 4. Enter the switch's password in the Password field. The default password is password. The System Information page displays. 5. Select Monitoring > Ports > Cable Test.
