ip http Chapter 2 Administrative Commands ip http To enable or configure HTTP and HTTPS services on your Server Switch, enter the ip http command in Global Configuration mode. To disable service or change a port number to the default value, use the no form of this command. ip http {polling | port number | secure-cert-common-name {useSysName | useMgmtEnetIpAddr | useMgmtIbIpAddr} | secure-port | secure-server | server} no ip http {polling | port | secure-port | secure-server | server} Syntax Description polling port secure -cert-common-name server useSysName useMgmtEnetIpAddr useMgmtIbIpAddr secure-port secure-server number Enables polling on the Server Switch. Specifies the HTTP port that the HTTP server uses. Returns the port configuration to the default value (80) when you use the no form of the command. Specifies where to get the common name used to generate a SSL certificate. Enables the HTTP server on your Server Switch. Use this keyword with the no form of the command to disable the HTTP server. Configures your Server Switch to use its system name (that you configure with the hostname command) in SSL certificates. Configures your Server Switch to use the IP address of its Ethernet Management Port in SSL certificates. Configures your Server Switch to use the IP address of its InfiniBand Management Port in SSL certificates. Specifies the HTTPS port that the HTTP server uses. Returns the port configuration to the default value (443) when you use the no form of the command. Enables HTTPS with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) on your Server Switch. Use this keyword with the no form of the command to disable HTTPS. HTTP port (integer) that the HTTP server uses. Defaults The HTTP port value defaults to 80.
