save-log Chapter 2 Administrative Commands save-log To save a log file of the last 40 commands that you entered, enter the save-log command in Privileged Exec mode. save-log [filename] Syntax Description filename (Optional) Name of the file you create to store your command history. Defaults If you do not provide a name for the log file, your Server Switch assigns a name with the following format: savelog.mmddhhmmss where mmddhhmmss represents the system UTC time. Command Modes Privileged Execute mode. Usage Guidelines Platform Availability: Cisco SFS 3001, Cisco SFS 7000, Cisco SFS 7008, Cisco SFS 3012, Cisco 4x InfiniBand Switch Module for IBM BladeCenter Privilege Level: General read-write user. Your Server Switch stores save-log files to the syslog directory. To execute the commands in the save-log file, copy the file to a host, edit it appropriately, copy it to the config file system on a Server Switch, and run the exec command.
